You may have heard Nabu Casa’s announcement of a non-conforming part in the ZBT-1 USB device posted in the blog at the link below:

As a result, Nabu Casa is offering a ZBT-1 replacement program for any affected owners.
The Replacement program is for ZBT-1 branded devices only, purchased before November 2024 (we received one stock delivery of ZBT-1 branded devices which were all impacted, future stock will not have this issue)
Home Assistant Sky Connect branded devices are not affected.
If you want to take advantage of the replacement program, please contact us by sending us a message (link at the top-right of this page) and we can arrange a replacement device to be shipped to you at no cost.
The only qualification required to take part in the program is that you return your original ZBT-1 device to us first, again, at no charge to you. Once received, we will ship your replacement.
Because the effect of the non-conforming part in the ZBT-1 is only seen in certain setups, Nabu Casa are offering the replacement program for 60 months (from October 2024) for users who are currently using their ZBT-1 with no problems or issues and are unsure when they may change their setup in future.
The 60-month period gives you peace of mind that you can replace your affected ZBT-1 device free of charge at any time within the next 60-month period.
